12/12/08 Rose was WB, BOW and Shelby was BOB at the Delaware Water Gap KC show under
breeder judge Barbara Finch.
12/7/08 In a repeat of Saturday, Rose was again RWB and Shelby was again BOS under judge
Louis Auslander at the Eastern Dog Club show in Boston, MA.
12/6/08 Rose was RWB and Shelby was BOS under judge Lee Cannalizo at the Eastern Dog Club
show in Boston, MA.
12/5/08 Rose was WB, BOS at the Middlesex Kennel Club show under judge Charles Olvis for 2

12/2/08 Renata and Jackson are happy to welcome 7 new babies! There are 5 girls and 2 boys,
all black!
11/30/08 Bodhi was again BOB at the Sun Worcester KC show under Mildred Bryant. Sonja was
WB, BOW and BOS!
11/29/08 Bodhi was BOB at the Saturday Worcester KC show under judge Sulie
Greendale-Paveza. Shelby was BOS and Sonja was WB, BOW for another point!
11/23/08 Shelby was BOS and Jackson was RWD under judge Mary Anne Brocious at the
Springfield KC show.
11/22/08 Bodhi won BOB at the South Windsor KC show under judge Robert Moore with Rebecca
Carner handling!
11/21/08 At Windham County KC Jackson made his return to the show ring with a WD, BOW win
for his first 2 points! Shelby was BOS.
11/20/08 Bodhi and Tammy are the proud parents of a new litter of puppies! There are 3 black
girls, 3 black boys and 1 gray girl! The litter is owned by Nashau-Auke Newfoundlands.
11/8/08 In an almost repeat of Saturday's performance, Sonja was WB, BOW and Shelby was BOS
under breeder judge Deborah Thornton, while Walter was again WD for another 2 points. These
are some very nice wins for Livy's kids!
11/7/08 The Tempest Crew was busy coast to coast this weekend! In MA, Sonja was WB, BOW
for 2 points and Shelby was BOS under judge Robert Indeglia. Sonja also won a BBE Group 2!
Thanks to Rick Krieger for handling Shelby. On the west coast, Sonja's brother Walter was WD,
BOW for another 3 point major under Burton Yamada. Thanks to Sonda Petersen for showing
Walter to another major win!

10/19/08 Rounding out a great weekend, Sneakers was WD, BOW on Sunday at Troy KC under
Jackie Rayner for a 3 point major to complete his Championship! Andie was again BOS in
Springfield, MA, while on the West Coast at Del Valle Dog Club, Walter also won a 3 point major
as WD, BOW handled by Sonda Petersen! A wonderful weekend all around!

under Mr Lowell Davies! Ben was, as always, owner groomed and handled! Way to go Jackie,

9/12/08 Portia PWD and Carlo PWD proudly welcome a new litter of PWD puppies! There are 9
water dog puppies - 6 boys (4 wavy and 2 curly) and 3 girls (2 wavy and 1 curly).
9/1/08 Louie picked up his last win, going WD for his third major and Championship (!) at
Schooley's Mtn KC under judge Ron Menaker. Thanks again to Betty McDonnell for showing Louie
for the 4-day weekend. Andie and Steve won BOB too!
8/31/08 Louie was again RWD at Sussex Hills KC under judge Jim Deppen.
8/30/08 Louie was RWD at Newton KC's Saturday show under judge Mary Ann Alston.
8/29/08 After a couple of weeks off, the Tempest Newf crew headed back to the show ring.
Louie was WD, BOW for a 3 point major at the Newton KC under judge Jackie Rayner. Thanks
to Betty McDonnell for showing Louie for the 4-day weekend. Steve handled Andie to a BOS
win. On the home front, Shelby and Bradley welcomed a new litter of puppies today!!
8/3/08 Ben and Andie continued their Mother-Son winning streak on Sunday at the Cheshire KC
in Keene, NH. Ben was Winners Dog, Best of Winners to complete his Championship with all of
his points owner handled by Bob Regina and as always beautifully presented by Jackie Regina.
Kudos to Bob and Jackie for doing such an amazing job with their very first Newfoundland! To
add to the excitement, Andie won BOB and went on to a Group 3, all under judge Robert
Thomas.
8/2/08 Ben was Winners Dog, Best of Winners for a single point at Pioneer Valley Kennel Club in
Greenfield, MA, while his Mom Andie won BOS under judge Jack Ireland.
7/19/08 Louie had his turn for Winners Dog, Best of Winners, Best of Opposite Sex on Saturday
at Putnam KC under judge Ron Menaker with Ben going Reserve. Andie was again BOB.
7/18/08 Ben continued his winning streak with Winners Dog, Best Of Winners, Best of Opposite
Sex for another 3 point major at Putnam KC under judge Anitra Cuneo! Ben was owner-handled
by Bob Regina and beautifully groomed by Jackie Regina. Louie was Reserve Winners Dog and
Andie was BOB.
7/14/08 Abby and Jeff (CH Pouch Cove's Head Of State ROM) are the proud parents of a new
litter - 2 boys and 1 girl! The litter is owned by Kilyka Newfoundlands.

7/3/08 Shelby was BOB at Naugatuck Valley KC under judge Teresa Hundt and made the cut in a
very competitive Working Group under judge Patricia Laurans. Shelby was owner-handled to
this win by Steve! In addition, Ben was Reserve Winners Dog owner-handled by Bob Regina!
7/2/08 Shelby was BOS under judge Col Jerry Weiss on the first day of the Yankee Classic
Cluster in West Springfield, MA.
6/29/08 Mark followed up his new Champion status on Sunday by going BOB under judge Bonnie
Linnell-Clarke! Way to go Mark!
6/28/08 Mark finished his Championship with a 3 point major win in Lima, OH under breeder
judge Barbara Finch. Meanwhile, Ben took Reserve to a 3 point major at the Hockamock KC
show in Wrentham, MA under judge Charles Olvis.
6/25/08 Tipper and Jeff (CH Pouch Cove's Head Of State ROM) are the proud parents of a new
litter - 4 girls and 1 boy!
6/21/08 At the Bear Mountain Regional Specialty at Shawangunk KC, Sonja again won the
Sweepstakes under Breeder Judge Diane Keyser, Kelly was Reserve Winners Bitch and Best
Puppy under judge Angela Porpora and Shelby won BOS. Kelly also won a Puppy Group 2 in the
Puppy Working Group! Special congratulations to Kelly's junior handler Jessie Thibault!
6/20/08 At the Bear Mountain Supported Entry at Shawangunk KC, Sonja won the Sweepstakes
under Breeder Judge Evelyn DeReus, Shirley was Reserve Winners Bitch under judge Bob Sharp
and Shelby won BOB. Shelby also made the cut in the Working Group!
6/19/08 Ben earned another point going WD, BOW and BOB in New Paltz, NY under judge
Norman Kenney.
6/8/08 Phoenix earned the two legs needed for his RE title with a 4th place on Saturday and a
qualifying score and new title on Sunday!! Way to go Phoenix!
6/1/08 On Sunday at Framingham District KC in Wrentham, Shirley was WB for a three point
major and Shelby was BOS under judge James Fredricksen.
5/31/08 On Saturday at Ladies KC in Wrentham, MA Shelby was BOB and made the cut in the
Group under judge Betty Regina Leininger!
5/24/08 Canadian National Specialty, Gananoque, ON
- Sonja was Best in Puppy Sweepstakes at the NDCC National Specialty under judge Lou Ann
Lenner and was also first in the Senior Puppy Class under breed judge Birgitte Gothen.
- Finn was 2nd place Open Black Dog and Reserve Winners Dog owner-handled by Kirsten!
- Grover was 3rd in Open Black Dog, right behind Finn!
- Renata was 2nd place Open Black Bitch.
- And last but not least, Jackson was Best Puppy in Show, ably handled by Mylene Turbide!
5/18/08 On Sunday at Carroll KC Sneakers was WD, BOW for another point under judge Ed Bivin!
Sneakers was owner-handled by Kandy Adams - way to go Sneakers!
5/12/08 On Sunday at Windham County KC it was Shelby's turn to go BOB under Newf breeder
judge Barbara Finch. Shelby went on to a Group 4th placement under judge Theresa Hundt!
Several states away, Sneakers celebrated Mother's Day with his "Mom" Kandy by going WD, BOW
for another point and earning his 2nd Rally Novice leg!
5/11/08 Finn was again BOB (owner-handled by Kirsten) at St Hubert KC under judge Wendy
Wilhauck, while Shelby was BOS, Ben was WD, BOW for another point and Shirley was WB also
for one point! Finn (with a handler switch to Karen Friedman) also made the cut in the Working
Group!
5/10/08 Finn went BOB on Friday at St Hubert KC under judge Linda Krukar!
4/30/08-5/3/08 Newfoundland National Specialty, Warwick, RI
- On Tuesday Bodhi earned the final leg (and a 3rd place ribbon!) to complete his Companion
Dog obedience title with handler Cathy Gibson! He now needs just one more title (a WRD) to
complete his VN! Sneakers earned his first Rally Novice leg, while Walter picked up a bumper
leg to add to his title!
- On Wednesday in Sweepstakes Jackson took 2nd and Roger took third in the 9-12 mos puppy
dog class under judge Berna Hart Welch, while Sonja won the 9-12 puppy bitch class and Shirley
placed 3rd under judge Kathy Griffin. Sonja and handler Karen Friedman went on to Best of
Opposite Sex in the Puppy Sweepstakes under Berna Hart Welch!!
- Following Sweepstakes, the Tempest crew won the Inaugural Breeder's Class under judge Sylvia
Hammarstrom with Bodhi (handled by Ingrid Lyden), Mark (handled by Karen Friedman), Finn
(handled by Betty McDonnell) and Shelby (handled by Steve).
- On Thursday, Mark took 2nd place in American Bred with handler Joanne Brainard, while
Jackson won the 9-12 puppy dog class and went on to Reserve Winners Dog, beautifully handled
by Natasha Kramlich. In the non-regular classes, Finn won the Working Dog class and Ashley won
the Brood Bitch class with Shelby and Mark.
- On Friday, BJ took 3rd Place in the Novice Bitch class with handler Ingrid Lyden and Karen and
Sonja were 2nd in the 9-12 puppy bitch class.
- To wrap things up, on Saturday, Bodhi and Shelby made it to the final cut of 9 dogs and 7
bitches in Best of Breed! A great week was had by all! Thanks to all of the Tempest crew who
travelled to the National - it was great to see Phoenix, Walter, Trident, Sneakers, Renata, Ben
and Rose in the ring as well!
4/20/08 Sneakers earned another point going WD, BOW at Baltimore County KC under judge
Maxine Beam! Shelby was BOB at Springfield KC under judge Nancy Liebes. Both Sneakers and
Shelby were owner-handled!
4/19/08 Steve and Grover won the Bred-By-Exhibitor Working Group at the Pioneer Valley KC
show under judge William Bailey.
4/18/08 Ben earned his second point going WD and BOB at the Springfield KC show in West
Springfield, MA under judge Spike Ogarek.
4/14/08 Ben earned his first point going WD and BOB at the Rhode Island KC show in Warwick,
RI under judge Patricia Gellerman. Ben was owner-handled by his daddy Bob Regina - way to go
Bob and Ben!!
4/13/08 Bodhi earned the second leg toward his CD handled by owner Cathy Gibson!
4/13/08 The Tempest Newfs had another great weekend in Harrisburg, PA at the New-Pen-Del
weekend of Supported Entries and a Regional! On Friday, Grover won the American Bred Class,
Shirley won the 9-12 mos regular and sweeps classes, Shirley's brother Jackson won the 9-12
puppy class and Best In Sweepstakes, and Andie was BOS. On Saturday at the Regional, under
judge Paul Willhauck, Grover was RWD, Jackson again won the Sweepstakes, Shirley again won
9-12 and 9-12 sweeps, while Finley took home an Award of Merit owner-handled by Kirsten, and
Andie was again BOS. On Sunday, Grover won American Bred, Shirley won the Sweepstakes,
and Andie was BOB! Unfortunately we had to make the long drive home to CT so we could not
stay for the Group.
4/5/08 The Tempest Newfs had a great weekend at the Spring Fling Cluster of dog shows! On
Saturday at the Troy KC show, under judge Peggy Esposito, Grover was WD for a 3 point major,
Renata was BOS and Bodhi was BOB on his first day out as a Special! On Sunday, under judge
Catherine Bell, it was more of the same with all the Tempest crew taking home the same
ribbons as on Saturday!
4/4/08 Renata won BOS on Friday at the Trap Falls KC Show in West Springfield, MA!
3/30/08 Phoenix moved up to Rally Excellent and earned a leg his first time out and came home
with a 3rd place ribbon too! Go Phoenix!!
3/29/08 Phoenix completed his Rally Advanced title with a 4th place!
3/23/08 On Easter Sunday at the Twin Brooks KC show under Alberto Berrios, Louie was again
WD for another point! Thanks to Brian Still for showing Louie Saturday and Sunday.
3/22/08 Louie was WD, BOW for a 4 point major at the New Brunswick KC under judge
Lawrence Sinclair! Go Louie! Ben was RWD owner-handled by Bob Regina, and Rose was RWB,
handled by Steve.
3/16/08 On Sunday at CT River, Andie was BOS, and her son Grover was RWD under judge Irene
Bivin. Jackson was Best Puppy and went on to a Puppy Group 4 under judge Nancy Simmons!
3/15/08 At the CT River Working Group shows under judge Robert Hanley, Finn won a judges
Award of Merit owner handled by Kirsten Tomlinson, and Renata was BOS handled by Steve! In
PA, Sneakers again went WD, BOW for 2 points - great work Sneakers and Kandy!
3/14/08 Sneakers again went WD in York for another single point under Col Jerry Weiss.
3/13/08 Sneakers picked up a point by going WD, BOW in York, PA under judge James White.
Sneakers was owner-handled to his win by Kandy Adams!
3/2/08 The Tempest crew had a great day at the NCNE Winter Draft Test! Livy earned her DD,
while her Mom Ashley and brother Finn got their team title with Kirsten handling! The
mother-son team was a huge hit with the spectators, especially when Finn cleaned his Mom's
ears on the down stays. A great time was had by all, and thanks to NCNE for a great test, and to
Donna Thibault and Denise Castonguay for judging.
3/1/08 Congratulations to Bodhi and handler Cathy Gibson for earning his first CD leg from
Novice A at their very first obedience trial!!
2/24/08 Finn earned the last leg for his CD at the Rockland County KC show in NY, while Louie
went WD, BOW, BOB for 2 more points in the Breed ring under judge Thomas Squicciarini!

2/23/08 Walter earned the final leg for his Rally Novice title at just 8 months of age!!!
2/17/08 Shirley and Roger each picked up a first point (Shirley was BOW) at the First Company
Governor's Foot Guard Show under judge Sheila DiNardo. Andie was BOS.
2/16/08 Grover was WD, BOW for another point at the Elm City KC Show. His mom Andie won
the Breed. Sonja was RWB at her first ever dog show!
2/4/08 Ashley is the NCA's Top Producing Dam for 2007 AND Ash is tied for Top Producing
Dam in the WORKING GROUP for 2007!! Thank you to all of the owners of the Ashley kids
who worked hard to achieve their 2007 Championships. Andie received notification that
she is the NCA's Top Show Bitch for 2007.
2/2/08 Grover was WD, BOW for 2 more points in Queensbury, NY at the Glens Falls KC Dog
Show. His mom Andie was BOS both Saturday and Sunday!
1/19/08 Finley and Kirsten earned the second leg toward their CD in Schenectady NY with a
score of 177.5!
1/13/08 The Tempest Newfs started out the show year with a bang on Sunday January 13th in
Fitchburg, MA. Under judge Christie Smith, Trident was WD, BOW and BOS over a special for a
3 point major to complete his Championship! Way to go Trident! Tri is the 10th Champion that
Ashley has produced. Tipper was WB for 2 points, and Andie was BOB both Saturday and Sunday
and even made the cut in a tough group on Saturday with handler Joanne Brainard.

Greenfield, MA, while his Mom Andie won BOS under judge Jack Ireland.
7/19/08 Louie had his turn for Winners Dog, Best of Winners, Best of Opposite Sex on Saturday
at Putnam KC under judge Ron Menaker with Ben going Reserve. Andie was again BOB.
7/18/08 Ben continued his winning streak with Winners Dog, Best Of Winners, Best of Opposite
Sex for another 3 point major at Putnam KC under judge Anitra Cuneo! Ben was owner-handled
by Bob Regina and beautifully groomed by Jackie Regina. Louie was Reserve Winners Dog and
Andie was BOB.
7/14/08 Abby and Jeff (CH Pouch Cove's Head Of State ROM) are the proud parents of a new
litter - 2 boys and 1 girl! The litter is owned by Kilyka Newfoundlands.
7/6/08 Ben was Winners Dog for the 3rd day in a row, picking up another point. Go Ben and

7/3/08 Shelby was BOB at Naugatuck Valley KC under judge Teresa Hundt and made the cut in a
very competitive Working Group under judge Patricia Laurans. Shelby was owner-handled to
this win by Steve! In addition, Ben was Reserve Winners Dog owner-handled by Bob Regina!
7/2/08 Shelby was BOS under judge Col Jerry Weiss on the first day of the Yankee Classic
Cluster in West Springfield, MA.
6/29/08 Mark followed up his new Champion status on Sunday by going BOB under judge Bonnie
Linnell-Clarke! Way to go Mark!
6/28/08 Mark finished his Championship with a 3 point major win in Lima, OH under breeder
judge Barbara Finch. Meanwhile, Ben took Reserve to a 3 point major at the Hockamock KC
show in Wrentham, MA under judge Charles Olvis.

6/21/08 At the Bear Mountain Regional Specialty at Shawangunk KC, Sonja again won the
Sweepstakes under Breeder Judge Diane Keyser, Kelly was Reserve Winners Bitch and Best
Puppy under judge Angela Porpora and Shelby won BOS. Kelly also won a Puppy Group 2 in the
Puppy Working Group! Special congratulations to Kelly's junior handler Jessie Thibault!
6/20/08 At the Bear Mountain Supported Entry at Shawangunk KC, Sonja won the Sweepstakes
under Breeder Judge Evelyn DeReus, Shirley was Reserve Winners Bitch under judge Bob Sharp
and Shelby won BOB. Shelby also made the cut in the Working Group!
6/19/08 Ben earned another point going WD, BOW and BOB in New Paltz, NY under judge
Norman Kenney.
6/8/08 Phoenix earned the two legs needed for his RE title with a 4th place on Saturday and a
qualifying score and new title on Sunday!! Way to go Phoenix!
6/1/08 On Sunday at Framingham District KC in Wrentham, Shirley was WB for a three point
major and Shelby was BOS under judge James Fredricksen.
5/31/08 On Saturday at Ladies KC in Wrentham, MA Shelby was BOB and made the cut in the
Group under judge Betty Regina Leininger!

- Sonja was Best in Puppy Sweepstakes at the NDCC National Specialty under judge Lou Ann
Lenner and was also first in the Senior Puppy Class under breed judge Birgitte Gothen.
- Finn was 2nd place Open Black Dog and Reserve Winners Dog owner-handled by Kirsten!
- Grover was 3rd in Open Black Dog, right behind Finn!
- Renata was 2nd place Open Black Bitch.
- And last but not least, Jackson was Best Puppy in Show, ably handled by Mylene Turbide!
5/18/08 On Sunday at Carroll KC Sneakers was WD, BOW for another point under judge Ed Bivin!
Sneakers was owner-handled by Kandy Adams - way to go Sneakers!
5/12/08 On Sunday at Windham County KC it was Shelby's turn to go BOB under Newf breeder
judge Barbara Finch. Shelby went on to a Group 4th placement under judge Theresa Hundt!
Several states away, Sneakers celebrated Mother's Day with his "Mom" Kandy by going WD, BOW
for another point and earning his 2nd Rally Novice leg!
5/11/08 Finn was again BOB (owner-handled by Kirsten) at St Hubert KC under judge Wendy
Wilhauck, while Shelby was BOS, Ben was WD, BOW for another point and Shirley was WB also
for one point! Finn (with a handler switch to Karen Friedman) also made the cut in the Working
Group!
5/10/08 Finn went BOB on Friday at St Hubert KC under judge Linda Krukar!
4/30/08-5/3/08 Newfoundland National Specialty, Warwick, RI
- On Tuesday Bodhi earned the final leg (and a 3rd place ribbon!) to complete his Companion
Dog obedience title with handler Cathy Gibson! He now needs just one more title (a WRD) to
complete his VN! Sneakers earned his first Rally Novice leg, while Walter picked up a bumper
leg to add to his title!
- On Wednesday in Sweepstakes Jackson took 2nd and Roger took third in the 9-12 mos puppy
dog class under judge Berna Hart Welch, while Sonja won the 9-12 puppy bitch class and Shirley
placed 3rd under judge Kathy Griffin. Sonja and handler Karen Friedman went on to Best of
Opposite Sex in the Puppy Sweepstakes under Berna Hart Welch!!
- Following Sweepstakes, the Tempest crew won the Inaugural Breeder's Class under judge Sylvia
Hammarstrom with Bodhi (handled by Ingrid Lyden), Mark (handled by Karen Friedman), Finn
(handled by Betty McDonnell) and Shelby (handled by Steve).
- On Thursday, Mark took 2nd place in American Bred with handler Joanne Brainard, while
Jackson won the 9-12 puppy dog class and went on to Reserve Winners Dog, beautifully handled
by Natasha Kramlich. In the non-regular classes, Finn won the Working Dog class and Ashley won
the Brood Bitch class with Shelby and Mark.
- On Friday, BJ took 3rd Place in the Novice Bitch class with handler Ingrid Lyden and Karen and
Sonja were 2nd in the 9-12 puppy bitch class.
- To wrap things up, on Saturday, Bodhi and Shelby made it to the final cut of 9 dogs and 7
bitches in Best of Breed! A great week was had by all! Thanks to all of the Tempest crew who
travelled to the National - it was great to see Phoenix, Walter, Trident, Sneakers, Renata, Ben
and Rose in the ring as well!
4/20/08 Sneakers earned another point going WD, BOW at Baltimore County KC under judge
Maxine Beam! Shelby was BOB at Springfield KC under judge Nancy Liebes. Both Sneakers and
Shelby were owner-handled!
4/19/08 Steve and Grover won the Bred-By-Exhibitor Working Group at the Pioneer Valley KC
show under judge William Bailey.
4/18/08 Ben earned his second point going WD and BOB at the Springfield KC show in West
Springfield, MA under judge Spike Ogarek.
4/14/08 Ben earned his first point going WD and BOB at the Rhode Island KC show in Warwick,
RI under judge Patricia Gellerman. Ben was owner-handled by his daddy Bob Regina - way to go
Bob and Ben!!
4/13/08 Bodhi earned the second leg toward his CD handled by owner Cathy Gibson!
4/13/08 The Tempest Newfs had another great weekend in Harrisburg, PA at the New-Pen-Del
weekend of Supported Entries and a Regional! On Friday, Grover won the American Bred Class,
Shirley won the 9-12 mos regular and sweeps classes, Shirley's brother Jackson won the 9-12
puppy class and Best In Sweepstakes, and Andie was BOS. On Saturday at the Regional, under
judge Paul Willhauck, Grover was RWD, Jackson again won the Sweepstakes, Shirley again won
9-12 and 9-12 sweeps, while Finley took home an Award of Merit owner-handled by Kirsten, and
Andie was again BOS. On Sunday, Grover won American Bred, Shirley won the Sweepstakes,
and Andie was BOB! Unfortunately we had to make the long drive home to CT so we could not
stay for the Group.
4/5/08 The Tempest Newfs had a great weekend at the Spring Fling Cluster of dog shows! On
Saturday at the Troy KC show, under judge Peggy Esposito, Grover was WD for a 3 point major,
Renata was BOS and Bodhi was BOB on his first day out as a Special! On Sunday, under judge
Catherine Bell, it was more of the same with all the Tempest crew taking home the same
ribbons as on Saturday!
4/4/08 Renata won BOS on Friday at the Trap Falls KC Show in West Springfield, MA!
3/30/08 Phoenix moved up to Rally Excellent and earned a leg his first time out and came home
with a 3rd place ribbon too! Go Phoenix!!
3/29/08 Phoenix completed his Rally Advanced title with a 4th place!
3/23/08 On Easter Sunday at the Twin Brooks KC show under Alberto Berrios, Louie was again
WD for another point! Thanks to Brian Still for showing Louie Saturday and Sunday.
3/22/08 Louie was WD, BOW for a 4 point major at the New Brunswick KC under judge
Lawrence Sinclair! Go Louie! Ben was RWD owner-handled by Bob Regina, and Rose was RWB,
handled by Steve.
3/16/08 On Sunday at CT River, Andie was BOS, and her son Grover was RWD under judge Irene
Bivin. Jackson was Best Puppy and went on to a Puppy Group 4 under judge Nancy Simmons!
3/15/08 At the CT River Working Group shows under judge Robert Hanley, Finn won a judges
Award of Merit owner handled by Kirsten Tomlinson, and Renata was BOS handled by Steve! In
PA, Sneakers again went WD, BOW for 2 points - great work Sneakers and Kandy!
3/14/08 Sneakers again went WD in York for another single point under Col Jerry Weiss.
3/13/08 Sneakers picked up a point by going WD, BOW in York, PA under judge James White.
Sneakers was owner-handled to his win by Kandy Adams!
3/2/08 The Tempest crew had a great day at the NCNE Winter Draft Test! Livy earned her DD,
while her Mom Ashley and brother Finn got their team title with Kirsten handling! The
mother-son team was a huge hit with the spectators, especially when Finn cleaned his Mom's
ears on the down stays. A great time was had by all, and thanks to NCNE for a great test, and to
Donna Thibault and Denise Castonguay for judging.
3/1/08 Congratulations to Bodhi and handler Cathy Gibson for earning his first CD leg from
Novice A at their very first obedience trial!!
2/24/08 Finn earned the last leg for his CD at the Rockland County KC show in NY, while Louie
went WD, BOW, BOB for 2 more points in the Breed ring under judge Thomas Squicciarini!

2/17/08 Shirley and Roger each picked up a first point (Shirley was BOW) at the First Company

2/16/08 Grover was WD, BOW for another point at the Elm City KC Show. His mom Andie won
the Breed. Sonja was RWB at her first ever dog show!
2/4/08 Ashley is the NCA's Top Producing Dam for 2007 AND Ash is tied for Top Producing
Dam in the WORKING GROUP for 2007!! Thank you to all of the owners of the Ashley kids
who worked hard to achieve their 2007 Championships. Andie received notification that
she is the NCA's Top Show Bitch for 2007.
2/2/08 Grover was WD, BOW for 2 more points in Queensbury, NY at the Glens Falls KC Dog
Show. His mom Andie was BOS both Saturday and Sunday!
1/19/08 Finley and Kirsten earned the second leg toward their CD in Schenectady NY with a
score of 177.5!
1/13/08 The Tempest Newfs started out the show year with a bang on Sunday January 13th in
Fitchburg, MA. Under judge Christie Smith, Trident was WD, BOW and BOS over a special for a
3 point major to complete his Championship! Way to go Trident! Tri is the 10th Champion that
Ashley has produced. Tipper was WB for 2 points, and Andie was BOB both Saturday and Sunday
and even made the cut in a tough group on Saturday with handler Joanne Brainard.
1/1/08 Happy 2008 from the Tempest Crew!!
